Whether you’re celebrating a great score or figuring out what to do if things didn’t go as planned,

HPBOSE Class 10th Exam 2025: Key Dates

  • Examination Period: March 4 to March 22, 2025
  • Result Declaration: First week of May 2025 (tentative)
  • Revaluation/Retotaling Application: June 2025
  • Supplementary Exam Dates: July 2025
  • Supplementary Result Declaration: August 2025

How to Check HPBOSE Class 10th Result 2025

1. Online Method (Official Website)

  • Here’s how you can check your result online:
  • Head over to the official HPBOSE website: hpbose.org
  • On the homepage, find and click the ‘Results’ section.
  • Look for the link that says ‘10th Regular Theory Examination Result 2025’ and click on it. Enter your roll number in the given box and hit ‘Search’.
  • Your result will pop up on the screen.
  • Don’t forget to take a printout or screenshot — you might need it later.

2. SMS Method (For When You’re on the Go)

  • If the website’s slow or you don’t have internet, no worries — just use SMS:
  • Open your phone’s messaging app.
  • Type this message: HP<space>YourRollNumber
  • Send it to 56263.
  • You’ll get your result as a text reply in a few seconds.

 Details Mentioned in the Result

The online result will display the following information:

  1.  Student’s Name
  2.  Roll Number
  3.  Father’s Name
  4.  Mother’s Name
  5.  Subject-wise Marks
  6.  Total Marks Obtained
  7.  Overall Percentage
  8.  Result Status (Pass/Fail)
  9.  Division (First/Second/Third)

Just a heads-up: The online result is only provisional. You’ll still need to pick up your original mark sheet from your school once the results are officially declared.

 Understanding the Grading System

HPBOSE follows a grading system based on marks obtained:

| Marks Range | Grade | Grade Points |

| 91–100      | A1    | 10           |                           

| 81–90       | A2    | 9            |                            

| 71–80       | B1    | 8            |                          

| 61–70       | B2    | 7            |                    

| 51–60       | C1    | 6            |                     

| 41–50       | C2    | 5            |                               

| 33–40       | D     | 4            |                             

| 21–32       | E1    | C            |                           

| 00–20       | E2    | C            | |

Note: Grades E1 and E2 indicate that the student has failed in the respective subject.

 Revaluation and Rechecking Process

If you’re not happy with your results, don’t worry — you can apply for rechecking or revaluation.

Rechecking: simply means your recheck you paper again for surety that you will get the correct and same number which you are expecting.

Revaluation goes a step further — your entire answer sheet will be reviewed again in detail.

Application Process:

  •  Visit the official HPBOSE website.
  •  Go to the ‘Revaluation/Rechecking’ section.
  •  Fill out the application form and pay the requisite fee:
  •  Rechecking: ₹400 per subject
  •  Revaluation: ₹500 per subject
  •  Submit the application before the deadline.

 📝 Supplementary/Back Examination

For students who have failed in one or more subjects:

Application: Apply for the supplementary/Back exams through the official website.

Examination: The exams will be conducted in July 2025.

Result Declaration: Results will be announced in August 2025.

Note: Students should need to pass the supplementary exams to be eligible for admission to higher classes.

 What After the Results?

 1. For Students Who Passed

Stream Selection: you can choose between Science, Commerce, or Arts based on your interests and career aspirations.

Admission: Apply to higher secondary schools or institutions offering the desired stream.

Preparation: Begin preparing for the Class 11th syllabus to ensure a strong foundations.

 2. For Students Who Failed

Back Exams: Apply for supplementary/Back exams to clear the failed subjects.

Preparation: Focus on the areas which you faced difficulties and seek guidance needed.

Re-evaluation: If you believe there has been an error in marking, consider applying for recheck.
